its there on the horizon.
the land is in front of it.

proud is the the captain
his eyes are the best
their jobs he tells them to do
He expects them to be as good as him.
in front of it the land gets closer.
Jobs are not being done

The engines are ordered into reverse
slow and lumbering
its fate inevitable.
Its course long ago set
blinded by hubris and pride
nothing will change it now.
Over the sides everyone leaps
but the captain stays
alone
his fate soon to arrive.
